1. 口语听力，双管齐下
强烈推荐把口语和听力结合起来一起练习。虽然如今的口语书籍种类繁多，功能各异，但是以本人之见，最好的口语来源莫过于各类场景的听力材料了。雅思听力（贴近生活，场景性强），托福听力（学术场景较多），英语电影（主题各异，口音不同），英语广播（BBC和VOA中的慢速英语比较适合初学者，可是更建议听地方之声的某些英语聊天节目）。在听力过程中，发音，句型，语速都可以得到很好的模仿。
2. 设想场景，积累素材
对于教材问题，朗阁海外海外研究中心的老师认为，所有你看到的英语都有可能成为你口语的素材。只要你每看到听到英文材料时，设想一下你会不会在某种情况下需要用到如此的表达，如果答案肯定，那么请记录在你的便签本上，平常多翻翻，多念念，甚至于总结下。比如设想下你自己的交际场景，总结下你可能用到的问句和答语。例如：在餐厅点菜，waiter可能问你：May I take your order？ 你可能回答： Yes， I＇ll take rice. Um， no， no， on second thought， bread. 此情况下，on second thought就应该是你总结的句型。口语资料中，选出自己要用的东西，活学活用才能事半功倍。所以，一定要多思考，预想你可能面临的场景。然后自己操练所有的role play。又如，去英语角前，你就该提前准备好自我介绍和至少一个你能够说上至少20分钟的话题。反复演练，然后再去和你的partner交流。谈话中，partners可能会引入更多此方面的话题，这样，你就又多了些素材了。
三、雅思口语得分要点
1. 考前没必要到考点采风
雅思口语考试的前一天有同学很早就来蹲点，为了收集当天考试的信息为第二天的考试做准备，其实这是一项极其危险的工作，因为口语考场纪律中严格要求考生不能在考场周围相互之间询问考试内容，因此你千万不要临时抱佛脚去找现成答案，如果出现任何意外请自求多福。
2.语速快不代表熟练
我们在平时讲英语的时候或许不太注意自己的说话速度，也许有人习惯上讲话时用很快的语速，由于平时看到的听到的大部分是美国式的英语，给人的感觉是流畅轻快，节奏感也很强，可是雅思口语的考官大部分是来自英国、新西兰、澳洲或者加拿大，对于他们来讲语速是考量一个人语言素质和修养的关键因素，对于他们来讲，较快语速不是表现良好沟通的方式，反而平均的语速或者较慢的语速也许能够更加拉近彼此之间的距离产生好感，因此，控制好自己的语速和谈吐是口语表现中不可小视的问题。
3. 不要与考官开玩笑
聪明的你可能认为考官毕竟是人，因此和他搞好群众关系是临场发挥极为关键的事情，因此你会频繁的使用眼神交流法、微笑法、开玩笑法等博取考官对你好敢以期可能最终会得到比较满意的＇结果。但是，语言技术层面的工作才是最重要最急需做好的，相信一个满脸挂着微笑却只能进行只言片语的交流的考生，考官在评判的时候还是会客观地下结论，因此光是表面功夫还是不够的。
